Atlast I did donate!

So long I wished to donate!
But so scared was I to initiate.
Today gathered my nerves to undertake.
The Lady in the drive tried to alleviate,
She promised the pain will soon dissipate.
Nervously I saw the needle perforate;
in the bag my blood did accumulate.
For 10 min the pain did pervade.
Hurray!! Atlast I did donate!
