Back to reality...

Back to reality from an awesome 4 day vacation with my family here(aunt, cousin sis and nephews). We went to the Florida Keys, stayed in a villa, went deep sea fishing, ate the fish we caught, played monkey and dived for coins till my lungs bled(not literally of course)in the swimming pool, pet and fed the dolphins(they were awesome), hung out in the southern most city in Continental US and got ourselves two shades darker.

It was a perfect vacation except for the fact that I hit the fire hydrant while backing out in the rental van and made a big dent :( (hopefully the rental company doesn't not notice it :) )

It wasn't cheap vacation by any means but worth every penny!

25 years of dead weight

One of my buddies, asked me yesterday how does it feel to be 25. The first thing that came to my mind is this title line. Ha! Ha! Dead weight and nothing else! Like a rolling stone, rolling in every possible direction influenced by things both within and beyond my control. Where this stone will roll next? Or how long this will roll? I don't know and I don't care. All I care is that so far it's been an awesome roll!

Thank you my fellow stones for being there for me,

I saved a life... Did you?

Today I am on a high! So pardon the vanity in the title. I am excited coz today I did something selfless and worthwhile, for a change. That is, I donated blood today, my second time. There was a blood donation camp in Merrill Lynch today. I reached office and saw the mail. I thought for possible excuses to escape the needle prick but couldn't find any. So, before I change my mind I rushed and donated.

Folks, from my experience, blood donation is totally painless, if the nurse is as pretty as the one who drew mine :)
